Do you like the length of time Gel Manicures last – along with the chip resistant benefit – but hate the harmful UV light and chemicals required to set the product? Well I do too, and I think I have found a solution for us ladies!
Nothing makes you feel more put together than a manicured hand. I try to get a manicure weekly but there are times I just can’t get there. In the past, I have gotten Gel Manicures and loved how long they lasted and that they were chip resistant, but I loathe or fear the UV light and chemicals that’s required to set the product.
In December 2019 I stopped into one of my favorite places to get a manicure and I saw all these ladies getting “gel manicures” without UV light. I was intrigued. So, I got one myself and was so pleased with the results. It turns out that they are using a non-UV light “gel” manicure brand called Dazzle Dry which is applied without UV light and can be removed at home with regular remover. I could have the look and duration of a Gel Manicure without the harmful UV light and commitment of having to go back to the salon for removal.
At the time of my discovery of Dazzle Dry there weren't any salons nearby that carried the line, so I took the liberty of ordering my own system. I just took the four products to my nail salon of choice and asked them to use the products and voila - I had a non-UV light manicure that I can remove myself when the time comes. You can use the Dazzle Dry remover or a generic one to remove your polish. No soaking reqquired! I have always brought my favorite nail color with me to my nail appointment so what is a few more products especially if they are non toxic.
There are four steps in the Dazzle Dry manicure process, and it is important to use all of them for the desired effect. Your start with a nail prep, then a base coat, then polish and finish with the topcoat. A bio-organic chemist developed Dazzle Dry to be free of harmful chemicals and last at least two weeks. It’s the only quick drying nail care system of its kind and dries in 5 minutes. I have freiends that have completely give up on their gel manicures for a non toxic Dazzle Dry manicure that lasts just as long.
I started off with a color called Touch of Love - it reminds me of ballet slippers and a red color called Holly Berry You can purchase the 4 step kit in full sizes or mini sizes to get started. There is a catalogue of colors to choose from to match your style. The system is so easy to use at home or you can take your Dazzle Dry system into your nail salon and have them apply it at your next manicure or pedicure.
